Helping Businesses Thrive with Expert Virtual Assistance
With more than ten years of experience as a virtual assistant across diverse industries, I provide tailored solutions to help you reclaim your time and optimize your business operations. Whether in construction, real estate, the nuclear energy industry or other sector, I’ve supported clients in managing their businesses with efficiency and ease. By entrusting your administrative tasks to a seasoned professional, you can focus on what truly matters—expanding your business and reaching your goals.
Experienced Professional in Project Management, Technical Support & Business Communications
With an associate degree in web technology and certifications in graphic design and technical support, I bring a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for design. My extensive background in customer service has honed my ability to manage customer expectations and deliver exceptional experiences.
Previously, I served as the technical support consultant for the Americas and Europe at a company that developed and marketed their own drive-thru timers. In this role, I mastered proprietary QSR software, managed field technicians, scheduled operations, and oversaw support ticketing. Beyond my technical responsibilities, I also developed key documentation and operational procedures to enhance efficiency.
For nearly seven years, I have worked as a communications specialist for a business support solutions provider. As the sole designer for all communication materials, I handle website content, promotional materials, email marketing, and more. Over my last year and a half there, I played an integral part of the sales team, further expanding my expertise in business growth and client engagement.
Defying Limits: My Journey of Strength & Resilience
Born and raised in Latrobe, Pennsylvania - the home of Mr. Fred Rogers, golfer Arnold Palmer, and the first banana split! My parents had four children—and among us, the three girls inherited muscular dystrophy - Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease - from our father.
Living with a disability is challenging, to say the least. It took me years to accept that my life would always have limitations, and no amount of effort could change that reality. But here’s the thing—sh!t happens. You can either let it hold you back or fight with everything you have to take control. As someone who is permanently disabled, I’ve learned that once you embrace your reality, you become unstoppable.
I may move a little slower than most, and while I can't walk or run, I’ve come to realize those things are overrated anyway—ha! I choose to live my life as fully and normally as possible, proving that limitations don’t define who we are.
Building a Business with Purpose & Possibility
Although I’ve worked as a virtual assistant for many years, I officially launched my business in 2021. As a fully disabled person, traditional job opportunities are often limited, but I refused to let that define my future. I wanted to create a workspace where I could not only help others but also expand the possibilities for myself. Working from home allows me to bypass challenges like weather conditions, physical limitations, and accessibility barriers (seriously, how are some businesses still not handicap accessible?!).
Beyond my own goals, I founded Busy B Virtual Assistant with an even bigger dream—to one day bring on others who face similar struggles. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find meaningful work without limitations, and I would give anything to help anyone succeed. This business is more than just a career; it’s a mission to create opportunities where they’re often lacking and to prove that ability is about so much more than physical constraints.
